HD Dynamic Contrast
This feature increases Contrast and Color Saturation to create deep, rich images. The intelligent circuitry analyzes both the dark and bright areas of the picture, and separately optimizes the dynamic range in each area of the picture (Last year only dark areas were optimized). Picture enhancements include Luminance transient improvement, Green Enhancement, and Blue Stretch. This circuit is only active in Sports Mode, and is now available with all video signals, including 1080i.
Cinema Mode (3:2 Pulldown)
benefit: Sharp, accurate full-frame progressive images from any source.
DFine™ High-Speed Velocity Scan Modulation
benefit: Improves contrast and overall picture sharpness by changing the speed of the electron beam as it transitions between bright and dark areas of the picture.
TheaterFine™ HD Super Fine Pitch Screen
benefit: This .52mm design is over 27% finer than conventional screens. It reduces the physical space between the lines on the lenticular screen, resulting in a finer , sharper, more detailed picture.
